About Dr. Crow

Dr. Crow is a Bakersfield native who graduated from UC Irvine (B.A.), CSU Bakersfield (M.A.), and Oklahoma State University (Ph.D. ). Her internship was at San Fernando Valley Child Guidance Clinic where she worked treating children and their families. She trained in working with behavioral issues,ADHD, sexual abuse, anxiety, and depression. She pursued a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in the JFK Partners Program. Her two-year training included multi-disciplinary assessment and treatment of children from birth to seven years of age. The focus was on developmental disabilities, learning disabilities, autism, ADHD, and dual diagnoses in children.

Dr. Crow’s research has predominately focused on brain development in infancy. She has collected and analyzed EEG data using evoked potential data as predictors of visual and cognitive development. She currently refers clients for neurological assessments and neurofeedback treatments as needed.

In the course of treating families, Dr. Crow has worked with clients from age two to octogenarians in her Bakersfield practice. In her 16 years of practice locally, she has assessed and treated clients with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, Asperger’s Syndrome, autism, ADHD, Tourette’s disorder ,gender identity issues, learning disabilities, post-traumatic stress disorder, adjustment disorders,and some personality disorders. Her primary focus is on families and individuals. She has treated people from various races, religions, creeds, and orientations who make up this American culture.
